A common worry of parents is that their child can't speak English, so won't be able to take part in the camps. Each individual camp is tailored to suit the needs of the participants. We specialise in providing a warm, friendly and caring environment to all children, regardless of their English language skills or previous experience. The camps are mixed with regards the age and English levels. Kids learn through their peers, and we encourage our older participants to 'bring' the younger and less experienced members of the group along with them on the 'journey'. Children are not forced to speak English, they can express themselves however they feel comfortable. The aim is that by the end of the camp, each child has improved their understanding of the English language, and has gained the confidence to try and speak English in some capacity, whether that be whilst singing, playing or participating in the various activities on offer.

Our advertised Sherwood Farm Holiday Camps are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.  Camps can only be booked on a weekly basis (single day bookings are not available). Prices for the day camp include drinks throughout the day and a healthy (vegetarian) warm lunch. For the overnight camp, three (vegetarian) meals per day will be offered to the participants. For the overnight camps, the children will sleep in a combination of tiny houses, tents or barns here at Sherwood Farm. The last day of the camp finishes at 1pm.
